Poetry
It's so wonderful
It's what I want to hear
I'm so glad you are so happy
Dear, dear, dear, dear.
Raw fish filet
Silk sublime
Wonky photo finger
We're having us a glorious time.
Colin had a little boy
He had a little girl
He never spoke to either one
Colin never knew.
Some people are ready to shock
I can't compete with them
But I used to be so flexible
I could lick the back of my bum.
'SOME OPTIONS'
No one cares for me
That's an easy thing to say
But to say I feel nothing at all
Now, that's harder.
Do you always know what you're talking about?
Are you so certain all the time?
How did you become so wonderful?
How did you come to be mine?
There's an onus to be positive
There must be something to celebrate
Look! While everything is running down
The snakes crawl out from under their rocks.
Yippee.
Let's get rid of all the people
Who think living's a simple matter
For once they are disappointed
They are inconsolable.
Two horses run a race
Best of friends they say
One will amble far behind
The other hates the taste of hay.
If he doesn't stop
Worrying
About what might happen
He'll miss his train.
I don't feel well
My chest is tight
I smoke too much
I don't eat right.
It's so late
I can't sleep
My only pleasure
The sunrise.
Men in suits
Pretty poodle pampered
Lady finger's diamond ring
Bells that chime.
At the alternative cabaret
A comic had a lot to say
Most of it was rather blue
Hilarious on Special Brew.
'OTHER OPTIONS'
Sometimes you have to look nice
Iron your shirt and tie
Keep your doublet double breasted
Strike your feet on the stone.
I hope no one makes a biography of me
All those skeletons come to roost?
A sad, sad day of reckoning
For mister near at hand.
